Just when you thought that you would never watch America’s Got Talent, the producers of the series put an awesome four minute preview of Columbia Pictures The Amazing Spider-Man at the end of the show. Now, I know that I could have waited to watch it online, but seeing it on my big screen in my living room put me in the moment. The preview is amazing, for lack of a better word. I had been waiting a very long time for Spider-Man movie that captured not only web swinging actions, but Peter Parker’s, personality. Spider-Man is the greatest super hero of all time and this trailer gives the non-comic book reader a glimpse at what makes Spider-Man such a fantastic hero.

What an spectacular piece to show the fans. Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker) is putting together a character that I can relate to and could solidify himself as one of the best actors to portray a comic book character to date. Don’t get me wrong, I am a fan of the first Spider-Man trilogy from Sony, but they never caught the character points that Garfield’s Peter Parker is portraying. The sarcasm that we see in the TV spot is dead on with the character from the comic book and it’s what I look forward to most when I read the stories. I am getting a strong hero vibe from the footage in the sense that it almost feels like Spider-Man could be real.

Similar to the Saw franchise, the producers behind Paranormal Activity don’t know when to stop when they are ahead. The first two films grossed over a combined $350 million so another sequel was not surprising. For the third film we go back to 1988 when VHS camcorders were the thing to have and based on this trailer it appears the movie is told through home video footage.

I am curious to see how this plays out and to ultimately find out if the concept itself is actually played out. Going back to the 1980′s I think gives this franchise some hope and I look forward to seeing what they do the third time around. Check out this first teaser trailer below.

It has officially arrived! After an awesome teaser trailer and a couple spoof trailers, the first full length trailer for The Muppets has landed online via TheFilmStage. The pairing of Jason Segel and the cast of the muppets is truly inspired and I honestly can’t wait until this film opens in theaters. The teaser trailer was great, but this full length trailer is magical, and if you are a fan of the Muppets you will enjoy every second of this.

Fright Night is one of those movies a lot of teens grew up watching in the 80s. It’s a a decent horror movie with a few comedic nods. So, naturally Hollywood remade it. It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about it, but there has finally been a poster and trailer released for the upcoming film. I have talked about my skepticism in the past about the movie, but the trailer is actually pretty neat. I am glad to see Colin Farrell doing movies again, other than Horrible Bosses, we haven’t seen him lately. Unfortunately, we don’t get a look at co-star David Tennant, but there’s so cool, creepy feel to the movie. Check out the trailer, courtesy of IGN and poster below. MTV has done a great job of showing us a glimpse of what Sebastian Shaw‘s, Kevin Bacon, power may look like in X-Men: First Class. Those of you not too savvy on your X-Men villains and leader of the Hellfire Club Sebastian Shaw has the mutant power to absorb kinetic energy and convert it into strength. Basically, any force used against him he can redirect into power making him super strong near invulnerable. Now, the image that has been captured kind of looks like Shaw lost a game of hot potato with the Green Goblin and the following image is even more confusing. Not really how I imagined what his ability would look like in live action, but it is interesting. Watch the clip below and check out the second image captured by MTV.

A second full length trailer for Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has been released. This epic, action-packed adventure arrives in theaters on May 20th and stars Johnny Depp, Ian McShane, Penelope Cruz, and Geoffrey Rush.

This new trailer shows us some big time action that I thought was missing from the first trailer. Director Rob Marshall (Chicago) has taken over for Gore Verbinski, and I am looking forward to what he can do with this franchise.

JJ Abrams brings us a glimpse of his next alien based movie with this Super Bowl TV spot for Super 8. It is a teaser in every sense of the word and doesn’t offer much insight to the plot. Steve Spielberg is the Executive Producer on the project and I definitely got an E.T. vibe from the clip. Honestly, I’m, not sure how to feel about the footage. To this day I have not been disappointed in an Abrams film, but this teaser really didn’t get me excited. I’m sure that when we get a full trailer there will be more input to share. Plot: A troupe of six youngsters in Ohio in 1979 who are using a Super 8 camera to make their own zombie movie. One fateful night, their project takes them to a lonely stretch of rural railroad tracks and, as the camera rolls, calamity strikes — a truck collides with an oncoming locomotive and a hellacious derailment fills the night with screaming metal and raining fire. Then something emerges from the wreckage, something decidedly inhuman.

The Super Bowl may still be a few days away but some of the commercials we will be seeing have already made their way online. TV spots for Kung Fu Panda 2 and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides have already been released as wells as a Chevy commercial for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. There will be many more trailers and commercials hitting the net in the coming days, and of course, on game day you can check out trailers for upcoming movies like  X:Men: First Class, Captain America: The First Avenger, Cowboys & Aliens, Super 8, and many more!

Last week we brought you the first teaser trailer for Joel and Ethan Coen’s remake of the classic John Wayne western True Grit. Today we have the full-length official trailer that many of you may have already seen if you watched The Social Network this weekend as the trailer was attached to that film. If you haven’t seen it, or want to watch it again and again, here it is for your viewing pleasure. The Coen Brother’s have created one of the best looking  movies of the year and I can’t wait until Christmas to watch this as it has become one of my most anticipated films of the year.

A new full length trailer is here for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows which will finally arrive in theaters on November 19th. This trailer can be summed up in just one word: epic. The action, the visuals, and of course the magic are in full force here and fans are going to have a hard time waiting until November to catch part one of this incredible finale. I can say this is easily one of my most anticipated movies of the fall and after you watch this incredible trailer – I’m sure you will agree.
