During World War II Lt. Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) leads a group of Jewish–American soldiers into Nazi occupied France. Once there, they are instructed to strike fear into the Third Reich, through brutal torture and the scalping of dead Nazis. The Germans refer to this group as “The Basterds”. Writer/director Quentin Tarantino takes us on yet another violent and dialogue driven adventure during the Great War.
The posters for Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds keep getting better and better. After seeing numerous posters featuring the individual characters as well as the entire cast this may be my favorite one yet. You have to see the full poster to see why this one is really clever, dark, and twisted. Tarantino brings style to everything he works on and I am impressed with everything I have seen thus far for Basterds. The wait is getting shorter since the film which stars Brad Pitt hits theaters next month. Check out the full poster after the jump.
This past week a new set of posters for Inglourious Basterds hit the net. These posters look like the international poster which was released a couple weeks ago. Inglourious Basterds is the newest movie from director Quentin Tarantino. The film hits theaters August 21st. Check out this series of posters after the jump.
Wow! I am so excited to see this movie. Youtube via AICN has a new international trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. The trailer is in english so you don’t have to read any subtitles. I love how you can see Tarantino’s style shine through in this WWII Nazi film. The movie hits theaters this August and based upon this fantastic trailer, Tarantino should have another hit on his hands. Check it out!
The new Quentin Tarantino movie, Inglourious Basterds, hits theaters in just two months and today we have a new trailer for the Brad Pitt led film. In case you have been living under a rock for the last several months, Inglourious Basterds is the newest film by director Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction.) Basterds takes place in Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as “The Basterds” are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers. Check out the new trailer after the jump.
We haven’t had too many posters to show you the last couple weeks, and while today’s poster is international, it is definitely worth checking out. During last month’s Cannes Film Festival we were given several character posters for the film. We have yet to get a full cast poster, but this Italian poster from Badtase.it is a good one to check out. I hope they release a similar poster like this in the states. If you don’t already have it marked on your calendar, Inglourious Basterds hits theaters August 21st. Check out the poster after the jump.
Quentin Tarantino’s newest film, Inglourious Basterds, premiered last week at the Cannes Film Festival. The film was met with mixed reviews, but the interesting story that is coming this way from France, is that Tarantino is supposedly going back to cut the film even further. Variety is reporting that the director will be going back to the editing room to cut some of the film and apparently add a new scene as well. It has not been reported why Tarantino intends on changing the movie or if his changes are in response to any criticism. The film currently stands at two hours and twenty-seven minutes and it is unclear if running time is a reason for the return to the editing room. The Brad Pitt led film hits theaters August 21st.
Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds had it’s premiere last night at the Cannes Film Festival. While we were not in attendance our good friend Alex from Firstshowing was lucky enough to watch the film. Check out his review of the film which doesn’t hit theaters until August 21st. For those of us who will not see the film until later this summer we have three video clips to show you today. Each clip is about one minute long and the footage features several different cast members. Check out the clips after the jump.
Surprise! Surprise! We have another poster for Inglourious Basterds! The series began earlier this week with the first poster in the series featuring Brad Pitt as a Basterd. Yesterday we got another poster which featured Eli Roth as a Basterd, and today features Diane Kruger as…you guessed it..a Basterd! This poster series will debut at the Cannes Film Festival next week and will hopefully arrive at movie theaters sometime after that. Inglourious Basterds is the new WWII flick by director Quentin Tarantino. The movie hits theaters this August. Check out the full poster after the jump.
This past weekend we debuted the first character poster, in what appears to be a series, for Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. The first poster featured Brad Pitt as Lt. Aldo Raine, and today’s is Eli Roth as Sgt. Donnie Donowitz. Roth, as it clearly states, is one of the Basterds in Tarantino’s new WWII flick due out in August. When I wrote about Brad Pitt’s character poster the other day I commented that they should make this a series and feature the other lead actors. A few days later and here we have Eli Roth’s character poster! These posters are debuting at the Cannes Film Festival next week, so for those who aren’t going to France, here is your chance to see them.
Web Crawler is a new series we are bringing you where we find cool, unique gems from the world wide web. They are relevant to movies, comics, and pop culture; and thus we are happy to introduce Web Crawler to Fanboyz.net. Enjoy!
Today’s web crawler features a video which required a great deal of time to edit and score. It is courtesy of Eclectic Method who edited the movies of Quentin Tarantino along with his movies’ greatest musical hits. The video is one long Tarantino trip. It clocks in at about 7 minutes, which is rather long, but if you are a TarMiantino fan this is a must see. It is great to see a montage of his movies set to the music that defined these films. For those who don’t know, Tarantino is a big music fan, and carefully orchestrates his movie’s music to perfection. Continue reading to check out this Tarantino Mix Tape.
Finally another poster has arrived for Inglourious Basterds! This poster features Brad Pitt as, what else, but a Basterd. In the movie, directed by Quentin Tarantino, Pitt plays Lt. Aldo Raine. This is a great character poster and I hope they release even more posters featuring the other characters. The movie also stars Eli Roth, Mike Myers, and Diane Kruger. I am anticipating a new trailer for this film, and I would assume it should arrive sometime soon. InglouriousBasterds arrives in theaters on August 21st. Thanks to Film School Rejects, we have an extended clip of new footage from Quentin Tarantino’s Ingourious Basterds. Tarantino was a guest mentor on American Idol last night and during his stint on the show, host Ryan Seacrest introduced the director with this clip of his work on his latest project. The clip shows some new footage of the Basterds, as well as an almost unrecognizable Mike Myers in prosthetics. The clip also shows some great behind the scenes footage of the cast and crew working on the new film. Tarantino loves movies and music, so his involvement in last nights’ Idol was a nice fit as the top contestants sang songs from the movies. For those who don’t watch the competition here is your chance to catch this never seen before footage.

Vanity Fair Magazine has released a series of photographs of the cast of Inglourious Basterds. The new Quentin Tarantino film, due in theaters this August, stars Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, and Eli Roth. This photo spread is magnificent. I really enjoy the photography of Vanity Fair. If you remember last month we ran an article on Comedies New Legends which included a very funny photo spread. The photo series for Basterds has a much more serious tone, and the black and white photography is fantastic. The photos of Brad Pitt, Mélanie Laurent, and Diane Kruger are very artistic, and the photo of the cast with Tarantino is excellent.
