I guess we were incorrect when we reported last week that this poster would be the final one sheet for Toy Story 3. Today Empire has released another fun looking poster for the animated film from Disney and Pixar. Hitting theaters (in 3D, of course) this summer, Toy Story 3 reunites the entire gang of toys who have been donated to a day care center after Andy heads off to college. The trailer for this is fantastic and the movie is one of my most anticipated of the summer. Check out the full poster after break.
Opening in theaters this May is the video game adaptation of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, and Alfred Molina in a film by Mike Newell. UGO has debuted the final poster for the epic adventure which arrives in theaters May 28th 2010. The action packed trailer can be seen here and you can check out the full poster after the break.
This December Tron Legacy arrives in theaters and the anticipation couldn’t be any bigger. Today MTV has an exclusive look at a new poster for the film which features the lightcycle going yellow. Last month we showed you this poster for the film which is due in theaters December 17th 2010. Due to the dimensions of the above poster, I am assuming it will be a theatrical banner that you will most likely see hanging in a theater lobby. Tron Legacy is the long awaited sequel to 1982’s Tron which was about a hacker who is abducted into the world of a computer and forced into gladiator style games as he attempts to escape. Tron Legacy stars Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde, and Michael Sheen and is scheduled to be released in both regular IMAX formats in December.
A new poster for Disney’s Tron Legacy has arrived online today. The 3D feature arrives in theaters December 2010, and if the buzz from this movie is any indication, Disney could have a big hit on their hands. Check out this poster after the jump and leave your comments below.
IMAX has released a final poster for James Cameron’s Avatar which will arrive in theaters now in less than 10 days. The feature will be shown in both digital and IMAX 3D when the film opens on December 18th everywhere. Check out the poster after the jump.
Empire Online has released this new teaser poster for Iron Man 2 which features Iron Man without the mask. Revealing Tony Stark, this teaser poster is the international poster for the film directed by Jon Favreau. Paramount and Marvel released the first teaser poster earlier this week which featured both Iron Man and War Machine. Hopefully the first trailer drops sometime soon, as rumor has it that it will accompany Sherlock Holmes on Christmas Day. Until then, check out this new international poster for Iron Man 2.
This is the definition of badass. Paramount and Marvel has released the first official poster for Iron Man 2 and it is everything we could have hoped for! Earlier today Jon Favreau Tweeted that the poster would debut via Yahoo, and this afternoon fans were given the first look at this awesome poster. Featuring both Iron Man and War Machine back-to-back, this poster is hopefully a sign that the first trailer will arrive soon as well. Rumor has it that it may be attached to Sherlock Holmes which opens Christmas Day. For now, enjoy this great poster in its entirety after the jump.

The image above is a cropped photo of the US promotional poster for Vince Vaughn’s Couples Retreat. No doubt nearly every theater in America carried the poster, which shows each of the pairs with a somewhat bewildered look on their faces. Above their heads lists each of the actors and actresses shown below, including Jean Reno who is not pictured. However, Yahoo! is reporting that the UK poster is altered, excluding one of the couples. The images of Faizon Love and Kali Hawk are taken off the poster, which has some of the actors and actresses in different poses with a different background. Take a look at the US and UK posters below.

One of the best moments of Robert Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino’s Grindhouse project were the fake movie trailers before each of the two films. One of them, Machete, is actually being developed into a movie. Starring Danny Trejo, Robert De Niro and a slew of B-List actors, the movie tells the story of a betrayed ex-Federale who goes on a killing spree, taking out his former employers. Jessica Alba is playing a character named Sartana, and here’s a look at a character poster for the film.
“Holmes for the Holiday” reads the tag-line for this latest poster for Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes film. The action adventure drops into theaters on Christmas Day and up until this point all we have seen are teaser posters. This weekend Cinematical debuted this poster featuring both Sherlock Holmes and his partner John Watson. Played by actors Robert Downey, Jr and Jude Law, Sherlock Holmes is directed by Guy Ritchie (Snatch.) This new poster fits well into the previously seen teaser posters, and while many may not enjoy the tag-line, it made me smile. Check out the full poster after the jump.
Acclaimed actor and director Clint Eastwood has returned to the director’s chair after last years smash hit Gran Torino. Eastwood’s new film is titled Invictus and stars Morgan Freeman as former South African president Nelson Mandela. The story follows Mandella after the end of apartheid and his attempt to bring the Rugby World Cup to S. Africa. The movie also stars Matt Damon as rugby play Francois Pienaar. Eastwood has directed many wonderful films and hopefully this is yet another one to ad to that list of films like Unforgiven, Mystic River, and Million Dollar Baby. The first trailer has yet to arrive so until then enjoy this poster after the jump.
Yahoo Movies has debuted the poster for the new Michael Jackson film This Is It. The film will hit theaters in October for a limited two week engagement. Put together after the King of Pop’s untimely death, This Is It chronicles Jackson’s planned summer tour in London as the musician prepares to entertain sold out shows at London’s o2 Arena. This Is It will arrive in theaters October 28th. Check out the poster after the jump.

Today, a new teaser poster for the upcoming Saw VI was released. While the Saw franchise has become increasingly complex and filled with twists, a lot of information coming out now suggests this one will give the audience a full understanding of the events we have seen unfold in the prevous five films. However, each one seems to backtrack on the events from the one before, so I wonder if they are not just saying the same stuff over again. From the looks of this new poster, it looks like Jigsaw’s hands are fitted to look similar to boxing gloves. With the tagline “Trust in Him”, it could be that this is in reference to his apprentace Detective Hoffman. The gloves could be symbolic of how Hoffman is doing Jigsaw’s work since he has been dead. Check out the poster and let us know what you think.
Unless you are completely out of touch with popular culture you should have heard of a new movie called Avatar. This film is the latest venture by Titanic director James Cameron. Set on a planet with its own species, language, and ecological system, Avatar is more than a movie, it is an accomplishment. Last month at Comic-Con Cameron presented fans with 24 minutes from the film which will not hit theaters until December. The film which will be released in regular as well as 3D formats is an impressive feat for the filmmaker. Cameron has taken the term concept and gone to a place we have never been to before. Check out the first official poster for Avatar which hits theaters December 18th.
Yahoo Movies has posted this new poster for Steven Soderbergh’s The Informant. A quirky comedy starring Matt Damon, The Informant hits theaters this September. I love the marketing concept for this film. The trailer is brillaint and the combination of Damon and Soderbergh is a perfect match. The film stars Damon as Mark Whitacer, a corporate whistle blower who thinks by bringing down large corporations that he is some type of secret agent. This movie looks clever and witty which is really refreshing to see in a time when movie theaters are filled with sequels and reboots. Check out the poster and be sure to check out The Informant in theaters this fall.
Yesterday during preview night for the San Diego Comic-Con we saw the first banner for the upcoming comic book adaptation Jonah Hex. Starring Josh Brolin as the title character, Jonah Hex also stars Megan Fox and John Malkovich. The banner that is being displayed at the convention was hard to get a good picture of because of the direction it is hanging toward the light fixture above it. It left a glare on the banner which made it hard to enjoy. Today we have the first high resolution image for the poster which features Brolin and Fox. The movie hits in 2010. Check out the full poster after the jump.
The Saw franchise has become a routine every Halloween in theaters across the country. The week before Halloween a new Saw flick is released. This October will see the release of sixth installment in the popular horror franchise. Since October is quickly approaching (summer has really flown by fast, huh?) the studio has debuted the first poster for the movie. This is different than normal posters as it is an animated image which creates the one-sheet through motion. It is not all that appealing. It isn’t bad, but it is not impressive as past posters have been. There really is no sense in describing it. Check it out for yourself after the jump.
The posters for Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds keep getting better and better. After seeing numerous posters featuring the individual characters as well as the entire cast this may be my favorite one yet. You have to see the full poster to see why this one is really clever, dark, and twisted. Tarantino brings style to everything he works on and I am impressed with everything I have seen thus far for Basterds. The wait is getting shorter since the film which stars Brad Pitt hits theaters next month. Check out the full poster after the jump.
If you haven’t checked out the trailer for Surrogates you can click here to check it out. It looks like an interesting story, but it seems very similar to I, Robot, The Matrix, and Blade Runner all combined into one film. The premise is intriguing. Set in the future humans can purchase robotic surrogates of themselves which they can control through a machine system which is connected to them (similar to how you enter the Matrix). When one of the surrogates is responsible for a murder, Willis’ FBI agent character must investigate how this happened. We have the first poster for the film which doesn’t really reflect anything about the movie since all it features is Bruce Willis. Still worth checking out. Tell us what you think.
We haven’t had too many posters to show you the last couple weeks, and while today’s poster is international, it is definitely worth checking out. During last month’s Cannes Film Festival we were given several character posters for the film. We have yet to get a full cast poster, but this Italian poster from Badtase.it is a good one to check out. I hope they release a similar poster like this in the states. If you don’t already have it marked on your calendar, Inglourious Basterds hits theaters August 21st. Check out the poster after the jump.
