The third Chronicles of Narnia story, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, doesn’t hit theaters until December 10, 2010, but the first photos have made their way online. Dawn Treader picks up shortly after the second book, Prince Caspian, as Lucy and Edmund are magically pulled into a painting, and join the Prince on his voyage to save Narnia yet again. Disney decided not to back this project, as Prince Caspian did not succeed at the box office. 20th Century Fox is releasing this film, and the photos are looking very true to the story. Take a look at them below.
Empire Magazine has a great photo of Iron Man in the upcoming sequel which hits theater May 2010. Empire usually has great covers for their issues and this is not an exception. Iron Man 2 drops on May 7, 2010. Check out the full cover after the jump.
National Treasure’s dynamic duo, Nicholas Cage and director Jon Turteltaub, are teaming up to bring us a live-action adaptation of Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Fanboyz.net has the first promotional photos featuring Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel. Based on the poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, and later the animated short in Fantasia, Sorcerer’s Apprentice tells the story of a young wizard in training, who causes problems for his master when a spell on a broomstick goes awry. However it looks like this story deals mostly with a wizard training a young man in preparation of fighting evil in New York. Check out the scans below.

Comingsoon.net has the exclusive photo of Sir Ben Kingsley in the upcoming Disney adventure Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Yesterday we showed you the first posters for the flick which stars Jake Gyllenhaal in an adaptation of the popular video game. Kinglsey plays a “villainous nobleman” who is in possession of the Sands of Time which is a gift from the gods that can reverse time. Sounds like a fun concept, but I am still skeptical about this project until I see a trailer. The posters look great, Kingsley looks awesome, but the video game adaptation has me questioning just how good this could really be. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time hits theaters May 28th, 2010. Check out the full photo after the break.

Disney has released a set of photos for their new hand drawn animated fairy tale The Princess and the Frog. These pictures have a real classic Disney feel to them and they will most likely remind you of older Disney productions like Bambi or Peter Pan. I am excited to see a hand drawn animated film. I think these images are beautiful and I look forward to seeing more from this film in the coming months. The Princess and the Frog opens in select theaters November 25th before it goes wide on December 11th. Continue reading to check out the rest of the photos in this batch.
USA Today has published five new photos from the new film The Book of Eli. Writer and director M. Night Shyamalan is back on the scene after last years disappointing thriller The Happening. The director who is best known for The Sixth Sense and Signs is working on a new film set to be released next summer. The film titled, The Last Airbender, is about the adventures of the successor to a long line of Avatars who must put aside his irresponsible ways and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations. Sounds like a weird story but I would expect nothing less from the guy who brought us Lady in the Water and Unbreakable. Shyamalan is a skilled storyteller so I look forward to his next cinematic adventure. USA Today has published two new photos from the movie featuring Noah Ringer and Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire.) Check out the photos after the jump.
