Peter is busy trying to be normal and use his powers to save people as a Paramedic but is raising suspicion on how he is always the first on the scene. And did I mention that there is a circus full of supers out for revenge for the death of one of their own? Sounds like a lot going on.

Fanboy alert! Ray Park, who played Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, will be joining the cast of Heroes next season. Entertainment Weekly is reporting Park will be a prominent character in a large portion of the story arc during season 4. It is unclear at this time what specific role Ray will portray, but as stated previously, the villain next season is some sort of charismatic cultist, and considering Park’s unparalleled stunt work, he will be someone very physically active perhaps with swords. If Park will be good or evil is unknown, but he plays evil so well, here’s hoping he’s on the dark side.

Apparently Angela believes that everyone in her family must know this horrible secret of her past. As we venture to Coyote Sands, the Petrelli family begins to dig around what appears to be a run down, abandoned camp of some kind. While digging they discover human remains. Not just a few bones, we are talking numerous bodies. In 1961 the government finds out about people with abilities and they round them up into this camp. The camp is in Coyote Sands and its’ head doctor is Mohinder’s father. This camp is supposed to help people with abilities.

NBC announced today that their superhero show, Heroes, will return for a 4th season this fall. The show has seen a ratings decline this season, however that did not deter the network from keeping it on their Monday night line-up. The show is still tied for the top spot for adults 18-49 along with The Office. Not only have the amount of viewers declined, but many critics feel this season has lost some of it’s appeal. Our weekly Heroes recap has seen mixed reviews, with this past week’s episode being one of the better episodes to air this season. What are your thoughts? Does Heroes have another season left in it? Leave your comments on the next page.

This week on Heroes…Claire has been hiding her fugitive “water breather” and mommy finds out. Parkman has painted a dismal future for himself while he and Peter try to rescue Daphne with the help of the mysterious “Rebel”.(I have an interesting theory who Rebel may be at the end of this review) Nathan and Danko’s (The Hunter) relationship is coming to a head when Danko authorizes lethal force against “supers”. Oh, Sylar and Luke’s trip down memory lane gets a little more bumpy.

This week on Heroes…  Parkman, Mohinder, and Peter have kidnapped H.R.G. They hope to discover the reason for being hunted and the origins of who are involved. This style of episode has become a classic in the Heroes lore. They always have that one show in which they do a flash back to what has transpired a few weeks, or months ago. As much as I think that painting the future has become redundant in the show, I really enjoy the flash back ones. Read the rest of this entry »

Our Heroes have survived the plane crash and are now on the run. Daphne and Ando have teamed up to find Hiro and Matt while Claire is still defying her daddies… and Sylar makes a friend? I don’t even know where to begin with this episode. I watched it twice (thank you DVR) and I have to say, I’m pretty disappointed. So, the plane crashes, then gets blown up, and the rest of the episode takes place pretty much around the crash site, or like a 10 mile radius. (I have a laundry list of questions that I will pose at the end of this article and we, as fans, can comment on them) Meanwhile, Sylar is still looking for “daddy” and comes across a teenage boy with the power to “microwave” objects. Instead of being the same ol’Sylar and killing him and taking his powers, he allows the kid to come along with him in his quest for his father. Read the rest of this entry »
