Two new international posters have arrived and they are both really awesome. The first is for director Matt Reeve’s vampire movie Let Me In. The remake of the 2008 Swedish film Let the Right One In, this movie hits theaters in October.

The second poster is for Tron: Legacy, the sequel to the 1982 movie Tron, which opens this December in theaters everywhere.

If your curious, the poster for Let Me In is French and Tron Legacy is from Japan.

Deadline is also reporting that the studio is looking to give the franchise a face-lift and will not title the new film Mission: Impossible 4. Instead they will choose a new title for the movie as a way to reboot this franchise.

Brad Bird will be directing the project which will begin production this fall for a December 16th 2011 release date.

Telltale announced a new video game based on the Back to the Future movies. The trilogy is going to be released on Blu-ray later this year as well. Christoper Loyd will be reprising his role as Doc Brown. No news on Michael J. Fox voicing Marty or not. Bob Gale, a screen writer who co-wrote Back to the Future, is going to be helping with the game. The game will be much like another episodic games by Telltale, such as SAM & MAX and MONKEY ISLAND. There will be 5 episodes in total when it’s all completed. No word on when this game will be released.

Now, I don’t want to post this announcement without giving you something to actually see. Sure, there is some goofy looking concept art… but, that’s not nearly as cool as these Back to the Future inspired self lacing shoes!

With just a little over two months to go until the release of the seventh Harry Potter film, Warner Brothers has released these new photos (via Empire Online). Three new photos from the film which is the first part, of a two part finale. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1 hits theaters November 19th of this year, and the second part July 15th 2011.

America watched as talk show host Conan O’ Brien was royally screwed by NBC earlier this year. In what has to be the worst television debacle of all time, the newly appointed Tonight Show host was let go after only seven months on the job. Don’t worry about Conan though, he received a hefty severance package from the peacock network and has now gone on to host a new show. This time around he is on cable, TBS to be exact, and his new show premieres November 8th.

Not that everyone was necessarily questioning what the new show would be called (I figured some variation of The Conan O’Brien show) but the man himself wanted the world to know, he indeed does have a title for the new show. Watch this clip below as the former Late Night, former Tonight Show, and current TBS late night guy dishes it out to us.

So what is the big news? Millar claims that a sequel to Kick-Ass has been greenlit and is ready to roll. Millar wrote the graphic novel Kick-Ass which inspired the film adaptation that dropped in theaters earlier this year. Millar was on BBC Radio Live Five where he had this to say about Kick-Ass 2:

The estimate is [Kick-Ass] will do 100 to 150 million on DVD based on the American sales, you know, so it’ll end up making a quarter of a billion on a 28 million investment. So It should be okay. So the sequel’s greenlit, we can go ahead and do the follow up now, you know. The first made so much compared to what it cost it would be crazy not to.

His thought process on what Kick-Ass could potentially make in DVD sales is rather exaggerated. The movie only made $48 million in U.S ticket sales, so his optimism is just that.

Today Millar went on MTV and has this to say:

We’re probably about nine months away from production starting, at the earliest, because Matthew [Vaughn]’s got to do ‘X-Men: First Class,’…Matthew just wants to get ‘X-Men’ done next year then hopefully we’ll just go straight into ‘Kick-Ass 2,’ that’s the plan.

Matthew Vaughn directed Kick-Ass and is currently working on X-Men: First Class so like Millar stated above, he is going to be busy for several months with that project. At least Millar acknowledges that they are at least nine months away from production.

Another headline making waves on the net is yet again from Mark Millar who, still running his mouth, said on BBC Radio that him and director Tony Scott are working together on Nemesis, another graphic novel that Millar wrote. Here is what Millar had to say about that project and who he wanted in the film:

Tony Scott, brother of Ridley Scott… I just got a call from him, literally about a month ago… it was one of those very surreal things. This is a $150 million budget… he said “Who do you fancy for it?”… I said “I dunno, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp” so he said “That’s good, we’ll give them a call.”

Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp in a comic book movie is sure a crapshoot. Good luck Millar. Like I said in the beginning of this article, Millar has a tendency to exaggerate the truth. So, I wouldn’t be too convinced that most of this is all that true. But as always, we will keep you posted.

In less than three weeks Ben Affleck’s follow up to his directorial debut Gone Baby Gone arrives in theaters. Set in his hometown of Boston, The Town stars Affleck along with Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm, Blake Lively, Chris Cooper, and Rebecca Hall. The Town is an adaptation of the novel Prince of Thieves by Chuck Hogan, and follows a team of bank robbers who reside in Boston’s Charlestown neighborhood, an area known as “the bank robbery capital of the world.” After a robbery which involves taking a woman named Claire (Rebecca Hall) hostage, the group of thieves later learn that Claire lives in the neighborhood and could be a problem for the guys who are eluding capture by an FBI agent played by Jon Hamm.

Watch this clip below from Yahoo Movies that sets the tone for the situation described above.

The plot thickens when Affleck’s character Doug tracks down Claire and ends up falling for his former victim. This action-packed film has more than just gun fire and car chases. As in Gone Baby Gone, Affleck knows the importance of the environment he is working in. Boston may be the backdrop for this crime saga but it represents much more to these characters. It is their life.
