Official First Look: Andrew Garfield as SPIDER-MAN
It has finally arrived! We first began reporting about Sony’s Spider-man reboot early last year and today we have the first official image of Andrew Garfield in his Spider-man costume. Sony released this promotional image today and ever since the net has been buzzing. While it is only one photo of Garfield in the costume (sans mask), the picture is more than enough to excite fans who are looking forward to a fresh take on the Spider-man franchise. Directed by 500 Days of Summer’s Marc Webb, the new Spider-man is scheduled for release May 2012. Looking back to the old suit, I can't help but think of how cheesy the movies were. I love the fight scenes but the rest just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I liked the old suit alot but I heard other people didn't like how it didn't look like he made it. That makes sense, where would one get or how would one make plastic webbing on a suit? This new one looks like it could have been made by sewing some pieces of fabrics like Under Armor. It looks very flexible. the hands and glove parts look really cool. I really hope I'm not saying I like the new one just because it's new.
The new suit looks really good, hopefully the movie turns out the same!
