Cover of the Week: Avengers: The Childrens Crusade #2

There is a lot going on in this stunning Jimmy Cheung cover for Avengers: The Childrens Crusade #2. I love how many characters are actually on the cover and think that the way Cheung has Magneto’s head in the back ground is great. I do have a problem with Wolverine having such a predominant role on the cover because we see him everywhere. This is a story about the Young Avengers and the cover should reflect that a bit more. The coloring is really fun hear too and I love the way the light is bathing everyone on the page. I don’t know where Wolverine is jumping to, but it looks like the action is the other way.
