ARKHAM CITY: Video Game Screenshots!

Who’s not excited for Batman: Arkham City? Yeah? We’ll, you’re a liar! How can you not be excited for the sequel to the greatest Batman game? Arkham City will more than likely be just as good, if not better. Let’s talk about what I’ve heard since the last Arkham City update. Harley Quinn, recently got a new outfit, she also got a few new tattoos. If you look closely at her character in the screenshots, you’ll see she has 2 “Mr J” playing card tattoos. One on her right arm and another on her lower left stomach hipbone area. What? I’m not a doctor, I don’t know what that area is called! There’s also an updated detective mode, not sure what that exactly means but I think they are trying to avoid people using detective mode the entire game. I know I played almost the whole game in detective mode. You can also see that this game is more open than the last one.

RockSteady has mentioned that the game will be a part of the city, which is now cut off from the public as part of Arkham and only for criminals. They say they don’t want it to be a free roam game but I thought Arkham Asylum was a damn good limited free roam game. If they give us only a little more freedom, it’d be even better! There’s also going to be an improved combat system with multiple simultaneous counter attacks. Remember all those gadgets you found and upgraded in the last game? Well you’ll have most of those as you start the game. Some will even be updated. These gadgets will also play a role in your combat. Does this not sound like the perfect game already?

Also, remember that other article when I predicted some multi-player feature? Well turns out it’s now confirmed but not how. I think you’re going to be teaming up with the female heroines and villains. I’m guessing it’s going to be alot like Resident Evil 5‘s co-op play, something like you can basically do the same things but in some parts, the smaller character will be able to get into places the bigger one can’t. Again, that’s not news, just what this fanboy thinks… speaking of RE5, they say RE6 news is coming soon… but we’ll save that for another time.

Here are 20 screenshots, that’s right, 20 screenshots from the new game! With this many screenshots being released now, I can only imagine how big this game is going to be! The game is currently set to be released in Fall of 2010.
