Casting News: Paula Patton Joins MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 4 Team

Last week we reported that Academy Award nominated actor Jeremy Renner had joined Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible 4. Today, we have more casting news with the addition of Paula Patton joining the Impossible Mission Force. Deadline is reporting that actress Paula Patton (Deja Vu’, Hitch) has been cast in the film which also stars Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, and of course, Tom Cruise at agent Ethan Hunt.

Deadline is also reporting that the studio is looking to give the franchise a face-lift and will not title the new film Mission: Impossible 4. Instead they will choose a new title for the movie as a way to reboot this franchise.

Brad Bird will be directing the project which will begin production this fall for a December 16th 2011 release date.
