Jeremy Renner Joins Tom Cruise in MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE IV

Academy Award nominated actor Jeremy Renner has been cast alongside Tom Cruise in Paramount’s Mission: Impossible IV. The Hurt Locker star will join Cruise in the fourth installment of the franchise which is scheduled to begin production this fall with an intended release date of December 16th 2011.

No word yet as to who Renner will play, but joining a franchise film like Mission: Impossible certainly is another big career booster for the actor who has had quite the summer.

Just last month we reported that Renner was confirmed to play Hawkeye for Marvel, and after that news broke, we reported that Renner would be playing the role of Hawkeye alongside Hollywood’s elite in The Avenger’s movie.
