STAR TREK 2 Begins Filming in January
The sequel to the 2009 re-boot Star Trek will begin shooting in January 2011 according to Hollywood.com. Actor Bruce Greenwood, who played Christopher Pike, announced the shooting date info just this past week. J.J Abrams will return to the director’s chair for a second time commanding a cast that includes Chris Pine, John Cho, Simon Pegg, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban and Anton Yelchin.
Greenwood had this to say about the upcoming film:
“I just know that the plan is to film it in January, more than that, I don’t know,” Greenwood said, adding that he hoped to have a role in the movie.
