First Trailer for SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD

You have never seen a “boy meets girl” movie like this before! Michael Cera plays Scott Pilgrim, an unassuming and quiet bassist for a small garage band who meets the woman of his dreams. She’s everything Scott has wanted, but there’s a catch: her ex-lovers are psychos he must defeat to be with her. Based on the American comic of the same name, SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD is filled with over-the-top action and visuals, taking nods from Japanese manga and even some arcade-style video games, Scott will undoubtedly have his hands full defeating his way to Ramona Flowers’ heart. SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD stars Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Chris Evans and Anna Kendrick. Look for it to beat its way into theaters August 13, 2010. I never read the story, but the trailer is so ridiculous and Michel Cera knows he is Hollywood’s go-to weenie kid right now, so I’m sold. Is anyone else interested in the movie?
