What a show! Tonight the 82nd Academy Awards took place in Hollywood where the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences honored the very best in film from the last year. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin did an outstanding job as hosts. The set was beautiful and the stars were all there to celebrate a great year for cinematic achievement. The big winner of the night was The Hurt Locker which took Best Picture as well as Director for Kathryn Bigelow. The first woman to ever win the award for Best Director, Bigelow beat out ex-husband James Cameron to make Oscar history.
