Bill Murray Talks Ghostbusters 3 on Letterman

David Letterman had guest Bill Murray on his program Monday night where the host asked about the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel. There has been tons of speculation as to Murray’s involvement in the third film, and based on what he says in the clip below, we still can’t be sure if he plans to be a part of it. He is less than enthused by the idea of a third movie, and as he states, the second film was obviously not on par with the first one. We have been reporting on the possibility of a Ghostbusters 3 for about a year now, and there has only been speculation as to the details surrounding this project. Check out Bill Murray on Letterman in the clip after the break.

The first Ghostbusters hit theaters back in 1984 and was a huge success. The film spawned one sequel, Ghostbusters 2 in 1989, as well as a popular video game. As we have previously reported, Ghosbusters 3 should be arriving sometime in 2011, but that may be with or without Murray. Stay tuned for more Ghostbusters news as it breaks.
