Cover of the Week: Supergirl #50

This is possibly one of the last covers by the late Michael Turner that we may see and how fitting that it is of Supergirl. Turner helped launch this current Supergirl series by drawing amazing covers and drawing her arc in the Superman/Batman story line titled Supergirl. It is sad that the stock pile of Turner’s art may be at an end, though we cannot be sure. As a fan it makes me happy to see his work pop up from time to time. Michael Turner passed away on June 27, 2008 of complications with bone cancer. His style was one of a kind and his impact prolific.
