In 2001, The Fast and the Furious became a surprise hit when it grossed over $100 million with little star power. The big attraction was the cars the movie featured. Although the franchise made both Diesel and Walker famous, neither actor has been able to do much else with their career as of late.

In 2003 2 Fast 2 Furious hit theaters, but this time around Vin Diesel opted to stay out, but Walker and the rest of the cast turned up once again.

In 2006 The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift was released which didn’t feature any of the original cast.

Then in 2008 Universal brought back the original team and Fast an Furious became a worldwide hit. Can Fast Five deliver the same goods as the previous film? These movies do not rely on a solid script, but instead on how many badass cars they can put on screen – and clearly it is working.
