Cover Of The Week: X-Men Origins Cyclops, Power Of Shazam #48

Adi Granov takes a simple pose and makes it pop. If you want to showcase the raw power of Cyclops, then this is the way. Fists clutched, stance wide and just let it rip. The series of X-Men Origins comics have been pretty good, but the Cyclops story was a little flat along with the inner art. Good thing they got a pro like Granov to do the cover.

The Blackest Night spreads to other titles this month and spawns a series of one shot cross overs. A great zombie cover that plays well with the Egyptian roots of the Black Marvel family. I love the mummy bandages on Osiris arms and the attention to detail on the tomb. Tom Feister is an artist that I haven’t been familiar with, so it’s nice to find some new talent to keep an eye on.
