Amazing Cover Artists Add To Kevin Smith’s Green Hornet
Back in May, we reported on some new comic books that fan favortie writer/ director Kevin Smith would be working on. One of those was going to be an adaptation of Smith’s, would be, screenplay for a Green Hornet movie. All that we know is that it is a spin on the film that Smith would have made had he been kept on the project. To get the fire’s going we have some images of the variant covers for issue #1. Superstar cover artists John Cassaday, J.Scott Campbell, Alex Ross and Stephen Segovia add to the, already, comic celebrity heavy series.

All of the covers are very impressive. Sometimes it gets me worried when they get all of these big selling cover artist on one project. It usually means that the comic isn’t very good and is just a ploy to sell comics. Some would say that Kevin Smith’s name would be enough to sell an issue, but many fans have become disenchanted by Smith in comics because of his past deadline issues. He has improved with DC Comics Batman Cacophony and the more recent Batman Widening Gyre that he can meet a schedule. I’m still on board with his work and I am crazy excited for this series to begin. According to Nick Barrucci, via Bleedingcool.com, from Dynamite Entertainment Smith has already completed ten issues of the series.
