Cover Of The Week: Invincible Iron Man #21

This is a great cover for fans of the Big Three. The series has been so solid since the fall out of Secret Invasion. I can not think of a better way to get the fans excited about the inevitable reunion of the Avengers than a story that includes the saving of Tony Stark by Cap and Thor. The imagery here is not lost on this fan and Patrick Zircher really sells it. I know that it doesn’t seem safe to strike Stark with a lightning bolt, but it’s comic book science just enjoy it. The bad news about this cover is that it shows Captain America (Steve Rogers), but the Captain America Reborn series has not finished up meaning it spoils that he comes out of the story just fine.
