Comic Book Writer Grant Morrison’s Biopic Trailer
Often refereed to as a “comic book genius”, scribe Grant Morrison will be getting his very own biopic to debut in July 2010 at San Diego Comic-Con titled Grant Morrison: Talking With Gods. Those who are fans have been waiting for something like this for quite some time, while others want to know if the rumors are true. Tales of crazy nights and lavish stories of narcotic induced inspiration. I have been somewhat disenchanted with Morrison over the last few years. Nevertheless, you can’t argue that the man has done some of the most amazing stories in comics over his carrier.

Not a lot to go on, but enough to get me interested. Morrison fits in with greats like Frank Miller and Alan Moore. However, that list also contains the names of writers that need to retire from the game. Once upon a time these men were heavy hitters, but now need to hang up their hats. None of theseĀ men have done anything worth mentioning for a number of years. I still get a lot of flack for thinking like this, although some agree. Morrison hasn’t done anything worth reading since his land mark run on New X-Men. This past year his Final Crisis cross over for DC Comics was one of the worst things that I have ever read, and not just in comics. I am hoping that this biopic will shed some light on the often elusive writer and give us some insight to his process.
