Khan on the Way for Star Trek 2?
Star Trek was one of the best franchise reboots in recent years. It told a great story, handled the time-travel plot device much better then other films, collected a great cast, and gave sci-fi fans awesome space action. Inevitably, sequel talks have been flying all over the internet, with rumors and conjecture ranging from storyline to characters. Comingsoon got wind of a juicy rumor, and it’s got a lot of potential to be the real deal. It centers around who might be playing the character of Khan in the next film. Check out the rumored actor below.
Nestor Carbonell, of Lost and The Dark Knight, is being thrown around as a pick for Kirk’s nemesis in the next movie. He and J.J. Abrams, director of Star Trek, go back a ways, as J.J. is an executive producer on Lost. He is a good actor, popping up in other projects including Smokin’ Aces and the live-action version of The Tick. A lot of rumors will continue to roll around, so we’ll keep you posted when the official word breaks on Star Trek 2.
