Teaser Trailer for Adam Sandler’s Grown Ups
With all of the trailers being thrown our way over the last week we were bound to find one dud. With an ensemble cast including Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, Rob Schneider, and David Spade, Grown Ups is about a group of childhood friends who reunite as adults with all their families. This is a comedy about funny situations but based on this teaser trailer there is a lack of anything humorous. Chris Rock has one line the entire trailer and the rest of it left a bad first impression for me. Check out Steve Carell’s Date Night trailer if you want a good laugh. Maybe I am being to harsh, but with a comedic team like that the expectations are set higher. You can watch the trailer after the jump and decide for yourself.
Five friends and former teammates reunite years later to honor the passing of their childhood basketball coach. With their wives and kids in tow, they spend the Fourth of July holiday weekend together at the lake house where they celebrated their championship years earlier. Picking up where they left off, they discover why growing older doesn’t mean growing up.

meh, not very interested. seems weird it gets a teaser too, don't see that often for comedies. sandler is still relevant comedian, but spade/james/rock/schneider doesn't sell it
The scene with Rob Schneider and his old wife is hilarious dude. How can you guys be bashing on something that has such a freaking awesome cast bro?
You guys can have your opinion but this is a great cast of comediens and I don't think I am the only one who is really excited for this comedy!
This movie looks hilarious! Adam Sandler is a comedy god. I agree with u Roz how could this be bad with such a great cast!!??
I have to agree with the poster, just watched the trailer and it left much to desire. I didn't find myself laughing at anything in the preview. Might have to pass on this one if they don't release anything better.
I don't think that there is enough in the trailer to make a good judgment on the film just yet. I need to see more.
