Be a Bastard in EA’s “The Saboteur”

This holiday season, prepare for one of the most unique and stunning WWII games to date. The Saboteur is an action/adventure game with stealth aspects, and is being developed by Pandemic Studios, whose credits include Star Wars: Battlefront and Mercenaries. An artistic style of black and white levels with bold red in Nazi uniform and blood, The Saboteur looks both beautiful and explosive. Check out a synopsis and trailer below.

When race car driver Sean Devlin sees his friends killed by Nazis in occupied Paris, he no longer can sit by while they grip the city in fear and terror. To exact his revenge, he gets assistance from French Resistance and British Intelligence to disrupt their function in the city. Areas with high presence of Nazi troops will have a low WtF (Will to Fight), and as you sabotage Nazi materials and kill officials, the WtF will increase, giving hope to Parisians. Although the game has nothing to do with Inglorious Bastards, the plot is awfully close, and sounds like you get to play as one of Aldo Raine’s men. The Saboteur blasts onto Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on December 8th.
