New Avatar Trailer Debuts This Friday

With less than two months to go before Avatar hits theaters, 20th Century Fox will be releasing another trailer for the movie this Friday. The three and a half minute trailer will feature new footage and can only be seen in theaters. The first trailer debuted a couple months ago to mixed reactions. The hype for the film has been escalating ever since director James Cameron debuted 24 minutes of his film this past summer at Comic-Con. However, the first official trailer left audiences less than thrilled; it actually underwhelmed fans. Hopefully this next trailer will rebound where the first one left off and bring the hype back to this film.

ComingSoon first reported that this trailer will hit theaters this Friday, October 23rd; however the trailer will not be available online for at least another week. The first trailer was considered more of a teaser, so the fact that this trailer is over three minutes long makes the potential for success even greater.

Avatar arrives in theaters on December 18th. It will be featured in 3D in both IMAX and digital 3D formats. What do you think about all of the hype for this project? Do you think it will live up to all the buzz?
