First Trailer for James Cameron’s Avatar

The first trailer for the very much anticipated James Cameron film Avatar has finally arrived. This project has been ten years in the making and as we approach the December 18th release date the hype could not be any more huge than it already is. This trailer is breathtaking as audiences get their first look into the magnificent world that director James Cameron has created. This is more than a film for Cameron. This is many years of work put into developing a new world that people have never seen before. Fanboyz was privileged to watch 25 minutes of the film last month at Comic-Con and we can honestly say that Cameron is an extraordinary filmmaker. Watch this must see trailer after the jump.

In the future, Jake, a paraplegic war veteran, is brought to another planet, Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na’vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Those from Earth find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture.
