Cover Of The Week: Angel #24

I love vampire stories! Well, most vampire stories, Twilight not included, and this weeks Angel covers had me very happy. Buffy/ Angel fan favorite Drusilla has returned in comic book form and it promises to be creepy, crazy and bloody. We haven’t seen her in a while, but  rest easy in the fact that actress Juliet Landau is co-writing the character that she made so popular. See the cover after the jump

Artist and friend of Juliet Landau, Sam Shearon, brought us this beautiful cover. It may be one of the best representations of Drusilla that I have ever seen. In the story for this issue Drusilla is apprehended by police and put into a mental hospital because she keeps speaking about vampires. It’s great to see her in this bird cage and it be split down the middle showing her human and vampire sides. The likeness is erie yet striking.
