Resident Evil 4 Hitting Theaters in 2010

Hollywood just loves to suck the life right out of any franchise, don’t they? The first Resident Evil was a good ride. The second one was amusing, and the third film, from what I hear was pretty bad. So why make a fourth movie? Because this film franchise is based upon a hugely successful video game and there are still loyal fans out there who will pay money to go see a fourth installment. So with that being said, Resident Evil: Afterlife will arive in theaters on September 17, 2010. Shocktillyoudrop is reporting that Paul W. S Anderson is back writing another script. No confirmation as to the return of cast members, but Sony has already green lit this project so we should hear more news soon. Stay tuned.
