Transformers 2 Adds Another $28M With Thursday Gross

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is continuing it’s box office domination as the film took in another $28.6 million on Thursday. After two days of release the blockbuster sequel has already made $89.2 million. We still have three more days left for its opening weekend numbers and at the pace it is going I would expect another $75 – 80 million Friday – Sunday. That would put the film in the range of $164 – $170 million for the first five days of release. It would be right around the five days openings of Spider Man 3 ( $169.4M) and Star Wars Episode III ( $172.8M). Have you seen Transformers 2 yet?
