First Trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender

The Last Airbender is a live action remake of the popular Nickelodeon animated show which follows the adventures of Aang, a ten year old successor to a long line of Avatars, who must put his childhood ways aside and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations. Shyamalan has always been a different kind of director. His style has made him famous with movies such as The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and Signs. This trailer for Last Airbender is very simple but it does exactly what it needs to do – it hooks the audience.
