The Prisoner TV Show to be Made Into Miniseries this November

When I first got into the show Lost, a friend told me to check out an old British show that was shortly on in the late 60′s called The Prisoner. AMC had some of the episodes online, and for being as old as it is, I was pleasantly surprised. Now, starting this fall, AMC is bringing the show back in an updated six-part miniseries. Jim Caviezel and Ian McKellen are headlining the miniseries, set to begin in November. It tells the story of a spy known only as Number Six who is somehow brought to a mysterious village where others appear to want what he knows.

Although the show was on for less then twenty episodes, the new miniseries may serve as a follow up to the show or a retelling of the original storyline. Here is AMC’s brief teaser, and stay tuned for more info on The Prisoner.
