Toy Story 3 Teaser Reunites the Whole Gang

In 1995 moviegoers were treated to a gang of lovable toys led by Woody the cowboy and Buzz Lightyear the astronaut in Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story. These toys were created by an animation studio called Pixar. Teaming with Disney, Pixar started down a path of extraordinary film making bringing us gems like Monsters, Inc, Finding Nemo, Wall-E, and their newest release titled Up. So after an illustrious track record which has brought fans the best animation out there, Pixar is bringing Toy Story back for a third go around, and the whole crew is back! Toy Story 3 is slated for a June 18, 2010 release; and this weekend fans were greeted to a teaser trailer when they saw Pixar’s 10th movie Up. Check out the trailer after the jump.

In Toy Story 3, Andy goes off to college and the toys end up getting donated to a day care center. What I really love about the Toy Story movies is how they mirror real life events. The relationship a child has with his toys over the years drastically changes, and it is impressive how the writers behind these movies have captured these instances, but they do so from the perspective of the toys. The first two Toy Story movies are my favorite Pixar films and i have high hopes for number three. What did you think of this teaser? It didn’t show anything off for the story but with characters as lovable as these, it doesn’t need to in order to hook audiences. I am already sold. Are you?
