First Trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon

Tonight on the MTV Movie Awards, stars from the upcoming Twilight sequel, New Moon, introduced the first trailer for the new film due in theaters this November. Stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner introduced the trailer to many eager fans awaiting the second film in the popular Twilight series franchise. The first film, titled Twilight, hit theaters last November and became a pop culture phenomenon. The movies are based upon the books by author Stephanie Meyer who has written a series of four novels following the romance between Bella (Stewart) and Edward (Pattinson). So for those Twilight fans out there, and we know there are many, this is for you.

After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella’s blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward’s sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.

I will go ahead and state this right now: I was not a fan of the first film. The film was absolute crap, and those of you who think otherwise, you are clearly blinded by the creepy pale skin of Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen. On a positive note, I think the trailer for New Moon looks better than Twilight, so hopefully that will be a good thing. I realize that I am not the key demographic for this film but just as a matter of good taste, the movie failed to live up to the book on many levels. Let’s hope New Moon can make this franchise, which has tons of potential, live up to the hype it deserves. Check out New Moon when it hits theaters November 20th.

YES! YES! YES! This WILL be the best film of the year, and I simply can't wait. Not since Paul Blart: Mall Cop have I seen a trailer this well done. But seriously, this film looks WAY better than the first one, which I already thoroughly enjoyed.
