Continue reading to check out Variety’s list of the films which Dreamworks has planned over the next few years.

2010

2011

The Guardians

Based on a chilrens book The Guardians unites Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairy, Jack Frost, and the Sandman to defend the world from the Boogeyman. This creative story will be released November 4, 2011.

2012

Puss in Boots

A spin-off of the popular kitten from the Shrek movies. Voiced by Antonio Banderas, Puss in Boots will hit theaters March 30, 2012

Also in 2012:

Dreamworks has a third Madagascar film planned. The second movie was released this past November and grossed almost $200 million domestically. The third film will take the animals from Africa to a traveling circus in Europe.

The Croods, a caveman comedy is currently in development as is Super Secret Ghost Project which asks the question of what ghosts think about humans. Both of these films are still on the drawing board but are still a possibility for 2012.

What do you think about these list of films? I look forward to another Kung Fu Panda film, Oobermind sounds like fun, and The Guardians sounds like the most original choice in the bunch. My only concern is the fact that these movies will all be released in 3D. I think that is a little overkill, but that is apparently the wave of the future.
