This fall moviegoers will experience Surrogates the latest action sci-fi movie from Bruce Willis. Today we have the first trailer for the film which has a Blade Runner meets The Matrix vibe. Set in a futuristic world where humans live in isolation and interact through surrogate robots, a cop (Willis) is forced to leave his home for the first time in years in order to investigate the murders of others’ surrogates. The movie is directed by Jonathon Mostow ( Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) and is scheduled to arrive in theaters September 25th. This trailer has an interesting premise but the movie looks like it could be really bad. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think.

I guess I'm probably a little too optimistic for this one but I am super excited to see how this one turns out. I've always though Willis' action flicks were incredible, from Die Hard to The 5th Element to 16 Blocks and I really think this could be surprisingly entertaining! Though it kind of reminds me a little of I, Robot…

the basic concept (cop investing deaths, robots used by people) of i,robot is there, but i think the idea of people using robots as direct access to the outside world is pretty unique and i think there's a lot of potential

This movie looks cool I LOVE bruce willis! He is just great, too bad he did the Kid. Well I also agree with the I, robot thing. Kinda reminded me of that cloning movie with Arnold also.
