Two Completely Different Posters for The Brothers Bloom
By Jeff Olson
April 15, 2009
The Brothers Bloom is a new con-man movie from director Rian Johnson. Starring Rachel Weisz, Adrien Brody, and Mark Ruffalo, the movie is set to hit theaters on May 29th. Today we have two new, and extremely different, posters for the movie. The first poster is your typical movie poster; featuring a photo of the cast, the names of the actors, and the title of the movie. The second poster is a hand drawn poster which, while being nicely drawn, is somewhat busy looking. The real reason I wanted to share these were that the posters are for the same movie, yet completely different.

If I had to chose one, obviously the second poster is significantly better. I like the artistic look of the poster. The hand drawn design is very appealing, where as the first poster is very bland. The Brothers Bloom looks like a great con-man movie.
The Brothers Bloom are the best con men in the world, swindling millionaires with complex scenarios of lust and intrigue. Now they’ve decided to take on one last job – showing a beautiful and eccentric heiress the time of her life with a romantic adventure that takes them around the world.
Check out this new movie in theaters on May 29, 2009.

Both posters are cool, but I agree that the second one is really exceptional and different. I can't wait for this film, Rian Johnson is on my must watch list after his brilliant debut with Brick.
