The Hangover is the newest comedy from the director who brought us Old School. The trailer looks hilarious and apparently Warner Brothers thinks it may have a big hit on their hands. The film is not due to hit theaters until June 5th, but the studio is already planning on a sequel. According to Variety Warner Brothers has asked director Todd Phillips to write a script for a second movie. Along with the director are stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms who have signed on for a sequel. This is once again, a rather presumptuous move by Hollywood. Planning on a sequel for a movie which doesn’t come out for two more months is risky. They want to start shooting this fall, so we can most likely expect a follow up to The Hangover sometime next year.
