Toy Story and Toy Story 2 Will be Released as Double Feature

Disney announced today at Showest that the upcoming re-release of Toy Story and Toy Story 2, in 3D, will be done as a double feature. The features will be released October 2, 2009 and are scheduled to only be a limited two week engagement. If this re-release is successful, which I would assume it would be, it would make sense for Disney to expand that two week run. Originally Toy Story 3D was scheudled to be released in October with Toy Story 2 3D scheduled for the following February. We have also learned that the double feature will be your first oppurtunity to see the trailer for Toy Story 3! The third movie is slated to drop June 18, 2010.
