Check Out: First Poster for Sam Raimi’s Drag Me to Hell

Director Sam Raimi has stepped back into the horror movie genre with Drag Me to Hell, which is due in theaters May 29, 2009. Raimi, who is best known for directing the Spider-Man trilogy, has had experience with horror movies. Raimi has previously directed The Evil Dead movies, so his new movie, Drag Me to Hell, is a good fit for the versatile director. Drag Me to Hell stars Alison Lohman, Justin Long, and David Paymer. The movie is about A loan officer (Lohman) ordered to evict an old woman from her home finds herself the recipient of a supernatural curse, who turns her life into a living hell. Desperate, she turns to a seer to try and save her soul, while evil forces work to push her to a breaking point.

The trailer for this movie debuted a few weeks ago, and while I was not that impressed, the movie does look better than the majority of horror movies which make it to theaters.
