Columbia Pictures has debuted a new trailer for the summer comedy Year One. Directed by Harold Ramis, and starring Jack Black and Michael Cera, the film follows two lazy hunter-gatherers who are banished from their tribe, and then set out on an epic journey. We first ran a teaser trailer for this when it premiered during the Super Bowl last month, and now we have a full length trailer to bring you. I was unsure how good this film could really be based on the subject matter, but after seeing this trailer, I am impressed. I think this could be a good summer comedy, so check out the trailer and leave us your thoughts. Enjoy!
So what do you think about Year One? I have confidence in Harold Ramis, who has previously directed, National Lampoon’s Vacation and Groundhog Day. After seeing this trailer, I think that Jack Black is being upstaged by his co star, Michael Cera. Jack Black plays similar characters in most of his films (and so does Cera for that matter), but I still really enjoy Michael Cera’s delivery. Hope you enjoyed the trailer. Do you think this will be a summer hit – or miss?
